ART DIRECTION
Thrive’s look and feel is modern, clean, and assured. The logo is a lightbulb with a “confident” hand acting as the wires. This symbolizes the power behind an idea and the “want” to execute the idea. The branded imagery is black and white photography of entrepreneurs brainstorming on white boards. This is then overlaid with a light gradient. Branded colors are displayed to the right.

“Finding the right people to create with is so hard. From trying to find someone who has that ambition to finding that person with the right skillset…”

Solution
To materialize a business-casual platform engineered to help freelancers find the perfect business partner based on skillset, goals, experience, interests, etc.
Wireframes
Featured are low-fidelity wireframes to ensure a logical user flow. Wireframes were then used to create a high-fidelity prototype.

Immediately after prompting to sign in or sign up, you will be brought to the menu.
YOUR PROFILE AND FILTER FEATURE
In the “Your Profile” section of “You +” you will customize your profile based on your own profession, education level, industry, experience, and skillsets. You can customize your profile even further by identifying what kind of role you wish to take in potential projects, your availability, your work style, whether you are open to work on projects in your area or remote, etc. Here you will also input your LinkedIn profile, and portfolio.
In the “Filter Match” section of the menu—you will be prompted to filter your ideal match. You have the option to create multiple filters for a variety of roles/professionals you are hoping to collaborate with. Once you are done filling out this section you then click the button at the bottom of the screen to begin swiping through potential matches. When you find a potential match, swipe right and you will be prompted to either message them now or continue swiping.
MESSAGES AND GROUPS
Chat with your connections about potential work. You also have the option to group multiple professionals to collaborate in the same chat.
SPOTLIGHT FEATURE
This feature enables the user to be able to browse through success stories from the app. You can read about entrepreneurs and business professionals who have formed successful business partnerships across all industries.
